We Love You - David and Victoria Beckham Celebrate Brooklyn’s 27th Birthday Amid Past Family Tensions

David and Victoria Beckham took a moment on Wednesday, March 4, to celebrate their eldest son Brooklyn Peltz Beckham’s 27th birthday with heartfelt posts on Instagram.

David, 50, shared two throwback images to his Instagram Stories. The first showed a young Brooklyn smiling between his parents in a swimming pool. Alongside the image,

David wrote, “We love you x,” tagging Victoria, and added, “27 Today,” with a teary-eyed smiling emoji.

The second image, in black and white, captured a slightly older Brooklyn posing with his dad. David captioned it, “Happy Birthday Bust,” adding a pink heart emoji, and added, “Love you x,” tagging Victoria once again.

Victoria, 51, also joined in, resharing the same pool photo David posted with the message, “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much,” accompanied by a red love heart emoji.

She followed up with a black and white photo of herself and her infant son, writing, “Happy 27th birthday Brooklyn, I love you so much,” along with five red hearts. This second image was the same she had shared last year to mark Brooklyn’s birthday.

The birthday posts come after a turbulent period in the Beckham family. Brooklyn, 27, made headlines in January when he publicly accused his parents of trying to sabotage his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, 31.

In a series of Instagram Stories, he claimed his parents valued publicity and endorsements over his personal life, and alleged they attempted to interfere with his wedding plans, including trying to “bribe” him regarding rights to his name and disrupting his wedding dance.

At the time, Brooklyn wrote, “I have been silent for years and have made every attempt to keep these matters private.

Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.”

He added, “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
