We’re Still Co-Parenting - Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker Finalize Divorce Settlement After 11 Years of Marriage

After more than a decade together, singer and television personality Kandi Burruss and producer Todd Tucker have formally settled their divorce.

Court records from the Superior Court of Fulton County in Georgia show that the former couple reached an agreement on March 11, bringing an end to the legal process that followed their public separation late last year.

The order, issued by Judge Alice Benton, directs both parties to submit final paperwork including a parenting plan, child support documents and a final judgment for the court’s review by March 20.

The split first became public in November 2025, when Burruss confirmed she had decided to move forward with ending the marriage.

In a statement at the time, she acknowledged that the decision came after serious reflection.

“After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce,” she said then. “This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect.”

Burruss added that she was shifting her energy toward family, work and personal growth, while asking supporters for privacy as the family adjusted to the change.

Their relationship began more than a decade ago when the pair met during the filming of season four of The Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2011.

Their romance soon grew serious, leading to an engagement in January 2013. The couple married the following year in April 2014.

During their marriage, they welcomed two children together, son Ace, now 9, and daughter Blaze, 6. Both also entered the marriage with children from earlier relationships. Burruss is mother to her adult daughter Riley, 23, while Tucker has a daughter, Kaela, 29.

Earlier this year, Burruss shared a glimpse into when the relationship truly reached a turning point. Appearing on Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen asked her about the moment she realized the marriage was over.

“It happened in July,” Burruss said during the interview. “In July was when I was like, ‘Oh yeah, no, I can’t do this anymore.’ ”

When Cohen pressed for details about what triggered the decision, she acknowledged that there was a specific incident behind it but chose not to go further. “Yeah, it was a specific situation,” she said with a laugh. “I’m not talking about it on Watch What Happens.”

Despite the end of their marriage, Burruss indicated that she and Tucker are trying to keep things respectful while navigating co-parenting.

“Sometimes our conversations can get a little intense,” she admitted. “But for the most part, even if we argue, we still try to be nice to each other.”

She noted that their shared focus on their children keeps them connected. Just recently, the two attended their son’s basketball game together.

“We were sitting right next to each other,” Burruss said, adding that the moment may have surprised some people watching. Still, it reflected the effort both parents are making to stay present in their children’s lives as they move forward separately.
