 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24.  2027 Political Season: Gov. Diri urges politicians to play by the rules


...stressing that power comes from God.


Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, has charged politicians to play by the rules as the 2027 political season gears up.


Governor Diri, who gave the charge at the 185th State Executive Council meeting in Government House, Yenagoa, added that political interests should not be allowed to divide the people.


He urged those interested in contesting elective offices to go to their wards, constituencies, and local government areas to canvass support for the All Progressives Congress (APC).


During the meeting, Governor Diri was also presented with the Sports Governor of the Year 2025 award by the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN). The award was received on behalf of the Governor by the Commissioner for Sports Development, Daniel Igali.


He was equally presented with two awards by the First International Deep Sea Port Investment Forum, which were received by the Commissioner for Marine and Blue Economy, Dr. Faith Zibs-Godwin.


The Exco meeting had the Deputy Governor, Dr. Peter Pereotubo Akpe, in attendance.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
