 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24. The planes have brought in technical ​equipment as well as dozens of physicians, engineers, lab experts and construction work...

A 29-YEAR-OLD WOMAN COMMITTED SU!CIDE SHORTLY AFTER HER 11-MONTH-OLD SON ACCIDENTALLY DROWNED IN A BUCKET OF WATER AT THEIR HOME IN BENGALURU, INDIA. (PHOTO)?


 A 29-year-old woman committed su!cide shortly after her 11-month-old son accidentally drowned in a bucket of water at their home in Bengaluru, India. 


The incident took place on Wednesday, April 1. 


Pratibha, a software professional, was at home with her child while her husband, Mahantesh, was at work. At one point, Pratibha went to the terrace to collect her dry clothes. During this time, the child, identified as Agastya, is believed to have crawled into the washing area and accidentally fell into a bucket filled with water. 


When Pratibha returned, she found her child de@d in the bucket. 


Unable to handle her child’s de@th, Pratibha slit her wrist, consumed a few pills, and hanged herself to d£ath, officials said. 


Later that evening, around 6:30 pm, when Mahantesh returned home, he found the door locked from the inside. With their spare key, he entered the house and found his wife and child de@d. 


A su!cide note written by Pratibha was found, along with an empty strip of 15 tablets, the police said. 


In the note, the woman stated that she was “responsible” for her child’s de@th, explaining that the incident occurred while she had briefly gone to the terrace, police added. 


The note mentioned that the woman first attempted to d!e by consuming tablets and slitting her wrists, but eventually resorted to hanging. 


A case has been filed, and further investigation is underway, cops said. 


Police said that the family had been living in the rented flat for the past four years.
