East Boston soccer ball installation sets Guinness World Record as world’s largest ahead of FIFA World Cup matches in Massachusetts   A giant soccer ball installed at Piers Park II in East Boston has officially been recognized as the world’s largest, surpassing a previous record set in Qatar in 2013. The inflatable structure was created by Britten, Inc. and Creative Inflatables in Ohio as a celebration of upcoming FIFA World Cup matches scheduled to take place in Foxborough in June and July. The installation will remain on public display through June 18, giving visitors a chance to see the record-breaking display up close. Officials said the materials used in the structure will be recycled once the exhibit is taken down.

A NEBRASKA MAN WHO FATALLY STRUCK A JOGGER IS NOW SUING THE DECEASED MAN'S ESTATE CLAIMING PTSD.(PHOTO).

A Nebraska man who fatally struck a jogger is now suing the deceased man's estate claiming PTSD.

Gavin Mass was driving along a dark road at approximately 4:45 a.m. on August 31st, 2025. As he traveled down the road, Gavin spotted a jogger, Bailey Miller, in reflective clothing. Gavin says he moved his vehicle in an attempt to give the jogger leeway. Unfortunately, this caused him to strike the jogger's husband, Anthony Miller, pictured below.

Anthony was allegedly jogging in the middle of the road, wearing dark clothing with no reflective gear.

Gavin Mass reportedly immediately stopped his vehicle and attempted life-saving measures until EMS arrived. Despite everyone's best efforts, Anthony Miller passed from his injuries.

No citations were issued in the fatal accident, and it was ultimately deemed that poor lighting and weather were the cause.

Now, nearly a year later, Gavin Mass has filed a suit against the Anthony Miller estate. The suit filed in Lancaster County, Nebraska, is asking for $50,000 for PTSD related damages.

In the suit, attorneys for Gavin state that he "suffers from an array of physical and emotional symptoms," as a result of the fatal accident. It goes on to claim that Gavin will "require lifelong treatment, including therapy and medications."

Gavin has been hospitalized multiple times following the accident and a 21-day impatient stay. The complaint goes on to state that Gavin has experienced dissociative episodes as well as self-h**m ideation as a result of the accident.

Gavin is seeking damages for medical expenses incurred as well as lost income and diminished earning capacity. He is also asking  for compensation for any additional court costs associated with the suit. Gavin Mass was 25 years old at the time of the accident.

Anthony Miller was 37 years old when he lost his life. He was the father of an 18 month-old-girl and a 3-year-old girl. He worked as a nurse practitioner at Nebraska Medical Center. Anthony was helping his wife, Bailey, train for a half-marathon she was planning to compete in, when he was fatally struck.

We will update with the court findings.
