Cuba’s president rejects calls to step down amid escalating tensions with Trump administration Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel said he will not step down from office, rejecting suggestions that he should resign during an interview conducted in Havana in his first appearance with a U.S. broadcast network.  Canada’s KitKat shipment gets presidential-style escort after Europe chocolate heist

A shipment of KitKat bars in Canada got a playful presidential-style escort after a massive chocolate heist in Europe. On Wednesday, the company shared a video showing a KitKat truck escorted by a security detail in Canada, with text reading, “When the chocolate's THIS good, you've got to call back up.” Nestlé noted that while the heist might seem whimsical, cargo theft is a growing problem, and going public with the story helps raise awareness about increasingly sophisticated theft schemes targeting businesses.
