  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, has commended the Nigerian Air Force Queens Football Club for their outstanding performance at the 2026 Federation Cup, where they emerged runners-up after a keenly contested final against Niger Rattle FC. Receiving the team at Headquarters Nigerian Air Force, Abuja, the CAS praised their resilience, discipline, and professionalism, noting that their journey to the final underscores the growing strength of women’s football within the Service.


“You have demonstrated courage, teamwork, and determination, values that define the Nigerian Air Force,” he stated. “Reaching the final of such a prestigious competition reflects the effectiveness of our investment in sports development and personnel welfare.” He assured the team of continued support, emphasizing the NAF’s commitment to nurturing talent and providing the resources required for athletes to excel at both national and international levels.


Earlier, the Director of Sports, Group Captain Ademide Adeyeye, expressed appreciation to the CAS for his unwavering support, noting that the morale boost and logistical backing played a significant role in the team’s success.
