 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24. Chris Hemsworth and Idris Elba return as Netflix moves forward with Extraction 3

Chris Hemsworth and Idris Elba are set to return for the next installment in the Extraction franchise, as the third film in the action series officially moves forward. Director Sam Hargrave, who led the first two movies, will return to helm the sequel, with Golshifteh Farahani also joining the cast. The script is being written by David Weil, though specific plot details have not yet been revealed. Elba previously appeared in a cameo role in Extraction 2, which was released in 2023.

The original film debuted in 2020 and quickly became a major success, breaking viewership records for the streaming platform. It followed mercenary Tyler Rake on a mission to rescue a kidnapped boy in Bangladesh and was based on the graphic novel “Ciudad.” The upcoming film will again be produced by a team that includes the Russo brothers and other longtime collaborators, as the franchise continues to expand with the same core creative group behind its global success.
