Cleric Cautions Youths Over Consumption Of Hard Drugs

By Chioma Oyedozie

The Archdeacon of Otolo East Archdeaconry, Ven B O Okeke has cautioned the youth against consumption of hard drugs as they are destructive to human being generally.

Ven Okeke raised the cautions against the backdrop of heightened drug consumption during the 2026 youth camp holding at St. Christopher Parish Otolo Nnewi.

He said that the church should ensure that people have the right conscience because with right conscience people will do the right thing.

He called on youths to be close to God and not trying to get the things of the world by all means and also to know the types of friends they keep and believe that God who created them will never leave them.

The Youth Leader of Otolo East Archdeaconry Mr Abuchi Nwaigwe, thanked the Archdeacon for his fatherly advice and called on youths to embrace God because hard drugs will totally destroy them as there is no going forward but backwards thereby leading to untimely death of such people.
