 GOV. ALIA OFFERS FREE MEALS IN MAKURDI RESTAURANTS 

Governor Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia has announced free meals at two popular Makurdi restaurants, Kilimanjaro and Amala Spot, along Iyorchia-Ayu Road, today.


The initiative aims to support residents and foster community goodwill. Patrons at both restaurants were treated to complimentary meals, drawing large crowds eager to partake in the offer.


A spokesperson from the governor’s office said the gesture reflects the administration’s commitment to social welfare and promoting local businesses. “Governor Alia believes in giving back to the people and encouraging community engagement,” the spokesperson said.


Residents expressed gratitude for the initiative, praising the governor for his concern for the welfare of the people.


The free meal offer will run throughout the day, after which both restaurants will resume normal operations. This initiative is part of the state government’s broader efforts to promote social support and unity in Benue.
