Cuba’s president rejects calls to step down amid escalating tensions with Trump administration Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel said he will not step down from office, rejecting suggestions that he should resign during an interview conducted in Havana in his first appearance with a U.S. broadcast network. When asked whether he would consider leaving office to help stabilize the country, Díaz-Canel pushed back sharply, saying Cuba’s leadership is not chosen by the United States and insisting the nation operates as a sovereign state. He added that stepping down “is not part of our vocabulary,” and defended Cuba’s political system as one based on domestic elections at the local level.  GOV. ALIA OFFERS FREE MEALS IN MAKURDI RESTAURANTS 

Governor Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia has announced free meals at two popular Makurdi restaurants, Kilimanjaro and Amala Spot, along Iyorchia-Ayu Road, today.


The initiative aims to support residents and foster community goodwill. Patrons at both restaurants were treated to complimentary meals, drawing large crowds eager to partake in the offer.


A spokesperson from the governor’s office said the gesture reflects the administration’s commitment to social welfare and promoting local businesses. “Governor Alia believes in giving back to the people and encouraging community engagement,” the spokesperson said.


Residents expressed gratitude for the initiative, praising the governor for his concern for the welfare of the people.


The free meal offer will run throughout the day, after which both restaurants will resume normal operations. This initiative is part of the state government’s broader efforts to promote social support and unity in Benue.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
