  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  SOLUDO APPOINTS DR. UWAEME AS NEW ASHIA EXECUTIVE SECRETARY

The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has appointed Dr. Ezeaka Augustine Uwaeme as the new Executive Secretary of the Anambra State Health Insurance Agency.


Dr. Uwaeme, who hails from Ogwuikpele in Ogbaru Local Government Area of the state, is a medical doctor with over 22 years of experience in Medicine and Surgery. He is known for his strong background in both clinical practice and healthcare administration.


The appointment was disclosed in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Christian Aburime.


According to the statement, Dr. Uwaeme’s experience and leadership are expected to support ongoing efforts to improve the state’s health insurance system and ensure more residents have access to affordable and quality healthcare services.


His appointment is seen as part of the state government’s broader plan to strengthen the healthcare sector and build on the progress already made by ASHIA.
