  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Gov. Yusuf Welcomes Sen. Shekarau to APC, Says Party Stronger in Kano


The Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, has welcomed former Governor and Senator, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, into the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing his return as a major boost to the party’s strength in the state.


This was contained in a statement signed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad on Sunday 


Governor Yusuf stated that a date will soon be fixed, in consultation with the national secretariat of the party, for the formal reception of the former Governor into the APC fold.


He noted that the party in Kano continues to witness growing support and consolidation, positioning itself as the most dominant political force in the state.


The Governor added that APC remains battle-ready to win all elective positions in the forthcoming elections, citing unity and strategic alignments as key factors driving the party’s confidence.


He further assured party members and supporters that the leadership is committed to strengthening internal cohesion and expanding its grassroots base across the state.


Governor Yusuf called on party faithful to remain steadfast and continue mobilizing support as the party prepares for future political contests.
