  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. NAF SUSTAINS COUNTER-TERRORISM MOMENTUM, DESTROYS TERRORIST STRUCTURES IN MANDARA MOUNTAINS


The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) through the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI has sustained its counter-terrorism momentum with a decisive Air Interdiction (AI) strike conducted on 27 April 2026 at Guduf in the Mandara Mountains, a known terrorist enclave. Acting on credible intelligence and prior confirmatory Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), NAF air assets executed a coordinated operation that identified multiple terrorist structures and logistics hubs actively supporting insurgent activities within the area.


Employing precision targeting and strict adherence to rules of engagement, NAF platforms engaged and neutralised hostile elements and their infrastructure with lethal accuracy, while maintaining due regard for the protection of civilians and the surrounding environment. The strike resulted in the destruction of key terrorist structures and logistics hubs, significantly degrading their operational capability and reinforcing the NAF’s relentless posture in denying adversaries freedom of action and safeguarding national security.
