Kenneth Okonkwo Withdraws Support for Atiku Abubakar Over Amaechi’s Selection as Running Mate Actor-turned-politician and former Labour Party presidential campaign spokesman, Kenneth Okonkwo, has withdrawn his backing for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s 2027 presidential bid following the emergence of former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi as the vice-presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Okonkwo announced his decision in a statement posted on his X account on Monday, shortly after reports confirmed Amaechi’s selection as Atiku’s running mate. In the statement, Okonkwo expressed deep disappointment, describing the development as a continuation of the “crude marginalisation” of the South-East geopolitical zone in Nigeria’s political power structure. “I heard from the social media that ADC has picked its vice presidential candidate from the South-South. I’m Very Grateful - Natalie Portman Announces Pregnancy With Third Child

Natalie Portman has confirmed she is expecting her third child.

The 44 year old actress shared the news in an interview with Harper's Bazaar, revealing that this will be her first child with her partner, French music producer Tanguy Destable.

“Tanguy and I are very excited,” she said. “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”

Her words carried a thoughtful tone as she reflected on how personal and complex pregnancy can be. Natalie explained that her background shaped how she views the experience.

She grew up in a home where fertility was openly discussed, her father being a doctor in that field. Because of that, she said she understands how difficult the journey can be for many people.

“I have people I love who’ve struggled with it,” she shared. “So I try to be respectful. It’s a beautiful thing, but it’s not always easy.”

Natalie already has two children, Aleph, 14, and Amalia, 9, from her previous marriage to Benjamin Millepied. The couple separated in 2023, with their divorce finalized the following year.

Her relationship with Tanguy became public in March last year, marking a quieter new chapter in her personal life, one she has largely kept out of the spotlight.

In recent years, Natalie has spoken about how much she values the calm of living in Paris, a lifestyle she says allows her to focus on what matters most.

Her last public appearance was at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, where she was seen alongside Jenna Ortega and Charli xcx.

Looking ahead, Natalie described a sense of clarity and appreciation that has grown with time.

“There’s a gratitude that comes with age,” she said. “You understand who you want around you, what energy you want in your life, and it makes each day feel more meaningful.”

She added that she feels strong and energized, staying active through swimming and gyrotonics while making space for family time with her children, which she described as the most important part of her routine.
