 South Africa says US misrepresented its policies after visa curbs South Africa's foreign ministry said on Wednesday that it ‌had noted with concern U.S. visa restrictions on some people from South Africa announced by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio a day earlier. The foreign ministry added in a statement that ⁠the U.S. announcement aligned with "the mischaracterisation of South Africa's domestic policies by fringe groups". "We maintain that challenges in our bilateral relations with the USA can only be resolved by constructive engagement through state actors on both sides of the diplomatic channel not unilateral acts," the statement said, Reuters reported. Trump has repeatedly criticized ‌South ⁠Africa since the start of his second term for what he falsely claims is the racial persecution of its white minority, citing affirmative action laws aimed at ⁠addressing the inequality that has persisted since apartheid. A 30-YEAR-OLD INTERIOR DECORATOR, ESOHE AIGBE, HAS REPORTEDLY BEEN HACK-ED TO DE-ATH AFTER VOLUNTEERING HER SERVICES AT A BURIAL CEREMONY IN BENIN CITY.(VIDEO/PHOTO).

 A 30-year-old interior decorator, Esohe Aigbe, has reportedly been hacked to death after volunteering her services at a burial ceremony in Benin City.


According to reports, Esohe offered to decorate the funeral venue free of charge as her contribution to the event.


Family members said she had accompanied a friend to help with decorations at a venue located on Ujo Street in the Ogida area.


After completing the assignment, she reportedly remained at the venue when she was attacked by unidentified assailants.


She was rushed to University of Benin Teaching Hospital with serious injuries but later died while receiving treatment.


Her body has since been deposited in a mortuary.


Relatives have called on security agencies to thoroughly investigate the incident and ensure those responsible are brought to justice.


As of the time of this report, no arrests have been made and the attackers have not been identified.
