At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. ASHLEY TISDALE REVEALS WHY SHE WON'T LET HER DAUGHTERS ATTEND SLEEPOVERS. (PHOTO).

Ashley Tisdale reveals why she won't let her daughters attend sleepovers

Ashley Tisdale French has explained why she won’t allow her daughters to attend sleepovers. In a blog post published on May 26, the High School Musical star, who shares two young girls with her husband Christopher French, said her decision stems from concerns about safety and the unknown dynamics inside other families’ homes.

While acknowledging that sleepovers can be fun for many children, she emphasized that risks often come from familiar environments rather than strangers, making her cautious as a parent.

Tisdale French also shared a personal childhood memory that shaped her perspective. She recalled staying at a friend’s house while the friend’s older brother had friends over, and waking up to learn she had sleepwalked without remembering it.

The incident left her feeling vulnerable, reinforcing her discomfort with the idea of children spending the night away from home.

Despite her firm stance, she stressed that her daughters will still enjoy social experiences with friends, just in safer settings.

To provide an alternative, she revealed plans to organize group getaways with other moms once the children are older.

These trips would allow the kids to have sleepover-style fun in shared spaces like hotels or Airbnbs, while parents remain nearby to supervise.

Tisdale French’s parenting views have drawn attention before, including her criticism of a “toxic” mom group earlier this year.

She continues to explore parenthood both personally and professionally, with a new CBS comedy in the works that will focus on co-parenting.
