 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24.  EFCC Secures Interim Forfeiture of Town Tavern Lounge, Four-Bedroom Bungalow in Ado-Ekiti


The Ilorin Zonal Directorate of the EFCC, has secured the interim forfeiture of a lounge and a four-bedroom bungalow located in Ado-Ekiti. Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court, sitting in Ilorin, while granting the application, held that the Commission had fulfilled all the necessary legal requirements. The interim forfeited properties are: Town Tavern Lounge located at No. 1, Ikere Road, off Florence Court School, Ado-Ekiti, and a four-bedroom bungalow located along Florence Court, Irewolede Estate, Ado-Ekiti. The properties were said to belong to Olorunbukunmi Taiwo, 43, who allegedly defrauded one Lady Anazia Colina Kenechukwu of the sum of N1,980,000,000 (One Billion, Nine Hundred and Eighty Million Naira only).Visit www.efcc.efcc.gov.ng for more stories.
