 PRAY FOR PEACE IN NIGERIA, SANWO-OLU URGES INTENDING PILGRIMS Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has charged the Intending Pilgrims embarking on the 2026 holy pilgrimage exercise to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to actively participate in the prayer sessions for the prosperity of Lagos State and Nigeria. Governor Sanwo-Olu gave the charge during a one-day seminar held at the Lagos Television De-Blue Roof Ikeja for the 2026 Hajj Intending Pilgrims, organised by the Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board. The Governor, represented by the Commissioner for Home Affairs, Mr Ibrahim Layode, said that the Hajj exercise revolves around intermittent prayer sessions and the pilgrims should use the opportunity to pray for the State and Nigeria at large fervently.  Ex-Kaduna Governor Ramalan Yero Submits Nomination Form For Senate 


Former Kaduna State Governor, Ramalan Yero, has officially submitted his nomination form to contest for the Kaduna North Senatorial District seat in the upcoming elections.


In a statement, Yero described the move as a demonstration of his continued commitment to public service, pledging to represent the people with integrity and to promote inclusive development across the district.


He also expressed gratitude for the support, encouragement, and prayers received from supporters, noting that their backing has been vital to his political journey.


The former governor emphasized his vision of building a stronger and more prosperous Kaduna North, expressing confidence in achieving this goal with collective effort.
