 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24. The planes have brought in technical ​equipment as well as dozens of physicians, engineers, lab experts and construction work...

 Former Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello Visits President Tinubu for Eid Homage While Facing Ongoing EFCC N80.2 Billion Fraud and Money Laundering Trial

Former Governor of Kogi State and APC Senatorial Candidate for Kogi Central, His Excellency Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, CON, on Saturday paid a Sallah homage to Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his Lagos residence as part of activities marking the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.


The visit provided an opportunity to engage in discussions on matters of national importance, governance, and the continued progress of the nation. Bello used the occasion to extend Sallah greetings to the President and commend his leadership and commitment to the development of Nigeria.


The former governor reaffirmed his support for the administration’s efforts aimed at strengthening the economy, promoting national unity, and improving the welfare of Nigerians. He also expressed confidence in the President’s vision and ongoing reforms geared towards sustainable growth and development.


The Sallah homage underscored the cordial relationship between the two and served as a platform for the exchange of ideas on political developments, party affairs, and the collective task of advancing peace, stability, and prosperity across the country.
