 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24. GHANA ACTRESS BEVERLY AFAGLO, DIES OF CANCER


A mother’s final blow: Cancer claims husband and two daughters, Beverly Afaglo’s death deepens Family Tragedy


The death of actress Beverly Afaglo has intensified a long-running family tragedy marked by repeated losses to cancer. 


Her death has left her mother, already grieving the deaths of her husband and another daughter from the same illness, in further emòtional collapse.


At the family residence, where preparations for a one-week observance are underway at the Green Flavour Events Centre in Tema Community 9, attention has shifted to the mother’s condition. 


The elderly woman, who depends on a walking stick for support, was overcome with grief when confronted with the latest loss.


The family’s history with cancer has now claimed three immediate relatives, leaving the mother without her husband and two daughters.
