 ‎‎NAF RECEIVES FIVE NEW HELICOPTERS AS FG ACCELERATES AIRPOWER MODERNISATION ‎ The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of five new helicopters as the Federal Government accelerates efforts to modernize Nigeria’s airpower capabilities and strengthen the Armed Forces’ capacity to respond effectively to contemporary security challenges.  ‎ ‎A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that the platforms comprise three AW-109 Trekker B helicopters  and two H-125 helicopters. ‎ The three AW-109s, which form part of 10 recently acquired by the Federal Government, were received in Lagos on 15 September 2026, with the remaining seven expected to be delivered before the end of 2026. ‎ ‎The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, described the acquisition as another significant milestone in the Federal Government’s sustained investment in the modernization and re-equipment of the NAF noting that the new pl...

 Hugh Jackman blames ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness for Nicole Kidman drama


Hugh Jackman is reportedly frustrated over feeling isolated in Hollywood and believes his ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, is behind it. 


According to insiders, Jackman thinks Furness and her circle have been quietly influencing others against him, leading to strained relationships with longtime friends such as Naomi Watts, Russell Crowe, and Nicole Kidman. 


The tension became more visible at the 2026 Met Gala, where Kidman, a co-chair of the event, allegedly avoided Jackman and his new partner, actress Sutton Foster, while showing support for Furness.


Sources claim Jackman has asked Furness to stop fueling the situation, especially since he feels it is unfairly affecting Foster’s reputation. 


He is said to be protective of her and upset that people who once welcomed her socially are now distancing themselves. 


Jackman reportedly believes the fallout has gone beyond a typical breakup and has escalated into a coordinated effort to exclude him and Foster from Hollywood circles, leaving him increasingly angry and unwilling to remain silent.


Jackman and Furness announced their separation in September 2023 after nearly three decades of marriage, finalizing their divorce in June 2025. While Jackman struggles with the social repercussions, Furness has leaned on Kidman for support, with reports suggesting Kidman is encouraging her to reenter the dating scene. 


Despite her loyalty to Furness, Kidman has expressed hope that tensions will ease over time, allowing her to eventually reconnect with Jackman without having to exclude him from her life entirely.
