 ‎‎NAF RECEIVES FIVE NEW HELICOPTERS AS FG ACCELERATES AIRPOWER MODERNISATION ‎ The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of five new helicopters as the Federal Government accelerates efforts to modernize Nigeria’s airpower capabilities and strengthen the Armed Forces’ capacity to respond effectively to contemporary security challenges.  ‎ ‎A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that the platforms comprise three AW-109 Trekker B helicopters  and two H-125 helicopters. ‎ The three AW-109s, which form part of 10 recently acquired by the Federal Government, were received in Lagos on 15 September 2026, with the remaining seven expected to be delivered before the end of 2026. ‎ ‎The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, described the acquisition as another significant milestone in the Federal Government’s sustained investment in the modernization and re-equipment of the NAF noting that the new pl...

 “I don’t think I could ever live with somebody again”: Charlize Theron reveals why she may stay single until death


Charlize Theron has opened up about her views on relationships, admitting she may remain single for the rest of her life because marriage no longer aligns with the life she wants. 


At 50, the actress says she has grown deeply comfortable with her independence, freedom, and stability, especially as a single mother. 


During her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, she explained that she doesn’t see herself ever sharing a home with a partner again, joking that she’d prefer someone live nearby rather than under the same roof.


Theron also revealed how her daughters, adopted in 2012 and 2015, have responded to her dating life. 


Contrary to her fears, they enjoy seeing her date and even encourage her to go out, playfully asking if potential partners are texting her. 


While she enjoys dating, Theron emphasized that her children always come first. 

She acknowledged that her perspective might shift once she becomes an empty nester, but for now, she values the balance and independence she has built.


Her candidness about relationships has sparked attention before, particularly in 2025 when she went viral after confessing on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she had recently dated a 26-year-old and loved the experience. 


Theron explained that finding freedom in her 40s reshaped her outlook, making her less interested in marriage or traditional expectations. 


Though she has dated several high-profile celebrities in the past, she now feels happiest living life on her own terms, embracing independence and rejecting the need to fit into conventional relationship structures.
