 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24.  JAMB RELEASES  279 RESULTS PREVIOUSLY HELD.


The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released 279 UTME results that were previously withheld for further investigation.


In a statement issued by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, the Board says the release followed ongoing investigations into cases of suspected examination malpractice.

        

JAMB adds that, some results have been outrightly cancelled where evidence of malpractice was established.


The Board also states that results from centres where its live monitoring team observed suspicious activities remain withheld pending further investigation.

Candidates whose results have not yet been released are advised to check their status by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used for registration, to access their released results.
