Jamie-Lynn Sigler, best known for her role on The Sopranos, has opened up in her memoir And So It Is… about her turbulent marriage to former manager A.J. DiScala.
She revealed that during their divorce, a forensic accountant discovered hundreds of thousands of dollars missing from her accounts, allegedly siphoned off by DiScala.
Though advised to pursue the money in court, Sigler chose peace of mind over a lengthy legal battle, deciding at just 24 years old that freedom from the marriage was worth more than the financial loss.
Sigler reflected that she was overwhelmed early in her career and leaned on DiScala, believing he had industry connections and expertise.
Their relationship quickly turned personal, leading to marriage in 2003, but ended three years later in a messy split.
Years later, she noted a striking coincidence: a fee from a Sopranos-themed Super Bowl commercial matched the exact amount of money she had chosen not to chase during the divorce, which she saw as a symbolic closure to that chapter.
Since then, Sigler has built a new life with former baseball player Cutter Dykstra, whom she married in 2016, and together they have two sons.
Meanwhile, DiScala’s own downfall came years later when he was convicted of securities and wire fraud conspiracy, sentenced to over 11 years in prison, and ordered to pay millions in forfeiture.
Sigler’s memoir portrays her journey from betrayal and financial loss to resilience, closure, and a focus on family.
