At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24. The 83-year-old comedian revealed her desire to undergo breast augmentation to correct asymmetry, humorously referring to her chest as “Thelma and Louise,” with one side larger than the other. 


Her cohosts joined in the discussion, with Sunny Hostin sharing her own experience with breast reduction surgery and Sara Haines joking that natural breasts are “cousins,” while paid-for ones are “twins.” 


The lighthearted exchange followed Rosie O’Donnell’s recent revelation about her facelift, which sparked broader conversations about body image and acceptance.


O’Donnell, a former cohost of The View, had spoken openly on her Substack about losing 50 pounds and the shame she felt around pursuing plastic surgery. 


She admitted that there comes a point when “acceptance starts to feel like lying,” highlighting the complex emotions tied to cosmetic procedures.
