Kate Middleton Shares Sweet Memory Of Late Family Dog During Italy Visit Princess Kate had a touching personal moment during her visit to Italy after her late dog Lupo unexpectedly became part of a classroom activity. The Princess of Wales, 44, was visiting Scuola Comunale d'infanzia Anna Frank in Reggio Emilia on May 13 to learn more about the well-known Reggio Emilia Approach to early childhood education when the emotional exchange happened. While sitting with children during one of the learning sessions, Kate looked through papers featuring animal names written in Italian. One word immediately caught her attention, “Lupo,” which translates to “wolf.” The moment clearly struck a chord with the princess. “Our dog was called Lupo.
