 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24. Vanessa Trump, the former wife of Donald Trump Jr., has revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. 


In a post shared on Instagram, the 48-year-old announced she is working closely with her doctors on a treatment plan after undergoing a medical procedure earlier in the week. 


She asked for privacy as she focuses on recovery, expressing gratitude for the love and support of her family, children, and close friends.


The news prompted an immediate wave of support from loved ones and followers. Ivanka Trump commented with a heartfelt message, praying for Vanessa’s strength and recovery, while her eldest daughter, Kai, praised her mother as the “strongest person I know” on social media. 


Just days earlier, Kai had honored Vanessa on Mother’s Day with a touching tribute, thanking her for always being supportive and loving toward her five children.


Vanessa, who divorced Donald Trump Jr. in 2018 after 12 years of marriage, has largely kept her personal life private in recent years, focusing on raising her children. 


Earlier this year, she confirmed her relationship with golf legend Tiger Woods. Her announcement also comes amid broader awareness of breast cancer, one of the most common cancers among women in the U.S. 


According to the American Cancer Society, advances in treatment and early detection have significantly improved survival rates in recent years.
