 Stephen Baldwin claims he was fired from rom-com for being 'funnier' than Jennifer Aniston Stephen Baldwin recently revealed that he was originally cast in the 1998 romantic comedy The Object of My Affection but was dismissed early in production. On his podcast One Bad Movie, Baldwin explained he had been chosen to play Vince McBride, the boyfriend of Jennifer Aniston’s character Nina Borowski.  However, after just two days on set, a producer told him there was a “problem”  specifically, that he was “funnier than Jennifer,” which they felt undermined the film’s dynamic. Baldwin described the criticism as both shocking and humiliating, likening it to being “mauled in the face by a wolverine.” He said he tried to tone down his comedic delivery but was ultimately cut from the project and told to go home.  The role eventually went to actor John Pankow, while Aniston starred opposite Paul Rudd, who played her gay roommate George. A FUN SUMMER DAY AT THE BEACH TURNED TRAGIC WHEN A LARGE TREE CAME DOWN ON A GROUP OF CHILDREN, LEAVING A 13-YEAR-OLD GIRL ON LIFE SUPPORT AND INJURING SEVERAL OTHERS.(PHOTO).

 A fun summer day at the beach turned tragic when a large tree came down on a group of children, leaving a 13-year-old girl on life support and injuring several others. 


Sadly, the Weber County Sheriff's Office has said that the 13-year-old girl is not expected to make it. 


It was a perfect summer day at Pineveiw Reservoir in Weber County, Utah, on Saturday, June 6th. 


Everyone on Quist Beach was enjoying a fun Saturday, away from their worries, when a sudden wind gust and a large decaying tree changed everything. 


A loud crash was heard by beach goers which was followed by cries of distress.  


The wind gust had brought down a large tree without warning. Unfortunately, a group of young children had gathered under the tree to play. 


When the tree came down, those children were in the exact wrong place at the wrong time.  Several children were unfortunately struck by the falling tree.


The following moments were filled with alarm and confusion as family members rushed to assess the situation. 


A number of young children were injured with various degrees of severity.  


However, one family has been left with their entire future in the balance. A 13-year-old girl was found unconscious suffering a direct hit that has left her on life support. 


A woman trained in CPR quickly ran over to aid the severely injured young girl. She reported that she was "unable to find a pulse" initially, and the child "appeared to be blue".


Another young girl suffered a broken arm, and many others sustained various less severe injuries. 


The 13-year-old girl was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.  Her family reports she is now on life support and is awaiting an organ donation. Today, June 9th, the Sheriff's Office put out a statement stating it is believed the young girl will not make it unfortunately. 


Our thoughts are with the young girl and the family and friends of this young girl. They went from simply having a fun time together to their entire world turning upside down, and in such an unexpected and tragic way.
