 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24.  Akon Says Many Famous Musicians Are Secretly Broke


Akon has opened up about the financial realities of the music industry, stating that many artists are not as wealthy as people often believe.


According to the singer, the glamorous lifestyles and luxury frequently displayed by musicians on social media and in music videos can be misleading, as a lot of artists are not financially secure.


Speaking during an interview with Hip Hop Eye, Akon explained that although the music business generates huge revenue, those working behind the scenes often earn more than the performers themselves.


He noted that executives and professionals in other sectors of the industry usually make more money than the artists who are in the spotlight.


“In the music industry, the artist is the last to get paid. He is the broke one but he is the most famous. If you want to be broke and famous, be the artist.


“But if you want to make real money go to other sectors of music business, like the producer, songwriter, manager, agent and attorney. There are so many areas in the entertainment field that you can really maximise,” he said.
