 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24.  Bandits Reportedly Attack Kaduna Mosque, Kill Worshipper, Kidnap Several Others


Armed bandits on Friday night attacked a mosque in Unguwan Namama village, Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing one worshipper and abducting several others, according to SaharaReporters.


The attack occurred despite ongoing efforts by the Kaduna State Government to tackle banditry across the region.


Reports indicate that the assailants stormed the mosque at about 8 p.m. and opened fire on worshippers, causing panic and confusion.


The victim was identified as Adamu Ibraheem. His relative, Abubakar Abdullahi, confirmed the incident in a statement shared with the media.


Sources said the attackers surrounded the area while prayers were ongoing and began shooting at worshippers as they exited the mosque.


Several people sustained gunshot wounds and were taken to hospital for treatment.


As of the time of filing this report, authorities had not confirmed the exact number of people abducted or injured during the attack.
