 TROOPS APPREHEND SUSPECTED TERRORIST COLLABORATORS, FAMILY OF ISWAP FINANCE CHIEF SURRENDERS, RECOVER LOGISTICS ITEMS Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have continued to sustain pressure on  terrorists through series of intelligence-led operations that resulted in the arrest of suspected terrorist collaborators, the surrender of the family members of a senior ISWAP commander, and the recovery of terrorist logistics items. In one of the operations conducted on 27 July 2026, troops of 5 Brigade arrested six ISWAP collaborators in Damasak, Borno State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly generating funds for the terrorist group through the procurement and sale of cattle at designated markets in Gubio, Damasak and Ajuwango. Items recovered from the suspects included one Volkswagen Golf vehicle, vehicle keys, four mobile phones of different brands, cow meat and the sum of ₦317,950.00.  Hunter Biden recalls late brother Beau helping him through addiction


Hunter Biden recently shared how his late brother Beau played a pivotal role in his journey toward sobriety. Speaking on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, Hunter recalled entering a recovery center in Antigua in 2003, where Beau later accompanied him to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting and helped him find a sponsor. 


Hunter admitted that while he stayed sober for a time, he relapsed in 2010, and Beau encouraged him to return to treatment, offering unwavering support and promising to attend meetings alongside him.


Their bond grew even stronger as Beau battled glioblastoma, the aggressive brain cancer that claimed his life in 2015. Hunter described the devastation of losing his brother, noting that his marriage fell apart soon after and that he struggled to stay sober despite multiple attempts at rehab. 


He explained that Beau had always been a constant presence in his life, someone who stood by him through every challenge, and that his death left him deeply shaken.


Hunter eventually achieved lasting sobriety in 2019, the same year he married Melissa Cohen and welcomed a son named after Beau. Reflecting on his past, he acknowledged the trauma of losing his mother and sister in a childhood car accident, and how that shaped his closeness with Beau. 


Despite decades of battling addiction, Hunter emphasized the love and loyalty that defined his relationship with his brother, describing Beau as both protector and companion in the most meaningful way.
