There Are So Many People Around The President With A Rosy Picture Of What The Country Is — Onaiyekan I was not surprised the president wasn’t looking very happy, even his colleagues present. We knew this is different from what our president keeps receiving from people, and that is one of the things that worry us. We have the obligation to help him to appreciate the reality of the situation in which we have found ourselves.  John Cardinal Onaiyekan Archbishop Emeritus, Catholic Diocese of Abuja

I Rediscovered Who Nicole Really Was - Joseph Perrulli Opens Up About Their Hidden Romance

More than three decades after Nicole Brown Simpson's tragic d@ath, Joseph Perrulli is sharing memories of a relationship he says remained largely unknown to the public.

The entrepreneur has released a book titled *The Forgotten Briefcase*, built around letters, journals, photographs and keepsakes he stored away for more than 30 years after dating Nicole following her separation from O.J. Simpson in 1992.

Perrulli first met Nicole through family friend Kris Jenner in 1989. At the time, he was working at Neiman Marcus, and Jenner introduced him to Nicole while helping her prepare for a formal event.

Although they did not immediately become close, their paths crossed again several years later after Nicole's separation. According to Perrulli, a friendship quickly evolved into a romance.

He recalls being drawn to Nicole's personality, describing her as grounded, warm and far removed from the public image many people had formed of her.

Their relationship included quiet evenings at her Brentwood home, conversations about food, music and family life, and moments that allowed him to see a side of Nicole rarely discussed publicly.

Years later, when he reopened a forgotten briefcase containing their letters and memories, Perrulli says he was struck by how vividly her voice returned through the pages.

That experience inspired him to write about the woman he knew rather than the figure often defined by one of America's most infamous criminal cases.

For Perrulli, the project became less about revisiting a famous tragedy and more about preserving memories of someone he believes was misunderstood.

"The story was always about O.J. Simpson," he said. "I wanted people to know Nicole."

Now, after decades of silence, he hopes the book offers a more personal portrait of a woman whose life was often overshadowed by the events surrounding her d@ath.
