 PRESIDENT TINUBU MANDATES VICE PRESIDENT SHETTIMA TO  LEAD NIGERIA'S DELEGATION TO 81st UNGA President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has mandated Vice President Kashim Shettima to represent him and lead Nigeria’s delegation to the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, UNGA, in New York, United States. A statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications, Office of the Vice President Stanley Nkwocha notes that VP Shettima will lead a high-level delegation comprising Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State; Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State; ministers and other senior government officials. The 81st UNGA General Debate will hold from September 22 to 28, 2026, under the theme, “Restoring trust, managing transformation: A United Nations that delivers for all.”  It further discloses that at the General Debate, Senator Shettima will deliver Nigeria’s national statement, outlining the country’s position and priorities on major global...

 Marc Anthony's 'difficult' relationship with his kids with Jennifer Lopez comes to light amid their graduation


Marc Anthony’s relationship with the twins he shares with Jennifer Lopez appears to have grown distant, according to insiders. The 18-year-olds recently celebrated their graduations, but Anthony was absent from both ceremonies, leaving Lopez to mark the milestones with her family and close circle. 


Photos showed Lopez emotional as she supported her children, while Anthony’s absence fueled speculation about his involvement in their lives.


Reports suggest Lopez has long been the primary parent, with Anthony deferring to her on most decisions. 


When the twins were younger, he often arranged private jets to spend time with them, but over the years his visits became less frequent. 


Anthony, who has eight children with four different women, is currently expecting another child with his wife, Nadia Ferreira, further highlighting the complexity of his family commitments.


Lopez, who divorced Anthony in 2011, has spoken openly about the bittersweet emotions of watching her children grow up and become independent. 


She admitted to struggling with tears while preparing graduation notes, saying she has given her kids “roots and wings” but finds it difficult to let go. 


Her reflections underscore the emotional weight of parenting through major life transitions, even as she continues to celebrate her children’s achievements.
