Terrifying new dashcam footage shows moment doomed NBC helicopter falls out of the sky The terrifying moment an NBC helicopter fell out of the sky and plunged into the ground near where an SUV had slammed into a Metro bus was caught on dashcam. The video, obtained by KTLA, shows the helicopter descending, caught from afar on the vehicle camera of Yera Valencia. She said: “I downloaded the video of my dashcam. It’s a little dot on the video. It’s a crisp video and it just goes down.” She added: “God, it’s so close, it could have happened to anyone. My parents walk down the street.” The two back-to-back Tuesday night crashes resulted in five deaths — two involving the bus and SUV, and three as a result of the chopper going down, killing reporter Eliana Moreno, pilot George Marciniw and pedestrian Edy Gutierrez Mejia.

 Ondo Government Withholds WASSCE Results, Expels 17 Students Over Sign-Out Misconduct


The Ondo State Government has withheld the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results and testimonials of some graduating secondary school students over alleged misconduct during their sign-out celebrations.


The disciplinary action, announced by the state Ministry of Education, followed the involvement of 17 final-year students in what authorities described as chaotic and unruly conduct after completing their final examinations.


According to the ministry, the affected students were seen in a viral video tearing their school uniforms, chanting unusual slogans and engaging in behaviour deemed inconsistent with acceptable standards of discipline.


The students were drawn from Oyemekun Grammar School, Aquinas Secondary School and CAC Grammar School, all located in Akure, the Ondo State capital.


The ministry said the sanctions, which include the withholding of examination results and testimonials as well as the expulsion of the affected students, were aimed at maintaining discipline in public secondary schools across the state.


It added that the government remains committed to promoting responsible conduct among students and discouraging acts of indiscipline within the education system.
