Stephen Baldwin claims he was fired from rom-com for being 'funnier' than Jennifer Aniston Stephen Baldwin recently revealed that he was originally cast in the 1998 romantic comedy The Object of My Affection but was dismissed early in production. On his podcast One Bad Movie, Baldwin explained he had been chosen to play Vince McBride, the boyfriend of Jennifer Aniston’s character Nina Borowski.  However, after just two days on set, a producer told him there was a “problem”  specifically, that he was “funnier than Jennifer,” which they felt undermined the film’s dynamic. Baldwin described the criticism as both shocking and humiliating, likening it to being “mauled in the face by a wolverine.” He said he tried to tone down his comedic delivery but was ultimately cut from the project and told to go home.  The role eventually went to actor John Pankow, while Aniston starred opposite Paul Rudd, who played her gay roommate George. SEAN PENN LABELED 'BIGGEST DIRTBAG IN HOLLYWOOD' OVER HOLOCAUST REMARKS. (PHOTO).

Sean Penn labeled 'biggest dirtbag in Hollywood' over Holocaust remarks

Sean Penn has come under fire after making controversial remarks about selfies during a Tribeca Festival conversation with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins. The Oscar-winning actor argued that fan photos are harmful, calling them “soul-suckers.”

But his comments took a shocking turn when he referenced a Holocaust survivor and a child with a disability as examples of situations where he would refuse a selfie.

The bizarre comparison quickly spread online, with critics blasting Penn as insensitive and labeling him “the biggest dirtbag in Hollywood.”

The backlash added to Penn’s long history of polarizing behavior. Social media users condemned his choice of words, saying he could have expressed his dislike of selfies without invoking such extreme examples.

Penn explained that large gatherings and constant photo requests fuel his anxiety, which is why he skipped the Oscars this year despite winning for One Battle After Another.

Instead, he traveled to Ukraine to meet President Volodymyr Zelensky, saying he enjoyed watching the ceremony from abroad without the stress of Hollywood events.

Penn’s comments also revived discussion of his troubled past, including decades of legal issues and volatile clashes with the media. From his 1980s arrests for assault to his reputation for confrontational behavior, critics argue that his latest remarks fit a pattern of headline-making controversy.

While Penn insists he respects veterans and has no agenda beyond connecting with people, many feel his Tribeca comments crossed a line, reinforcing his reputation as one of Hollywood’s most unpredictable figures.
