Stephen Baldwin claims he was fired from rom-com for being 'funnier' than Jennifer Aniston Stephen Baldwin recently revealed that he was originally cast in the 1998 romantic comedy The Object of My Affection but was dismissed early in production. On his podcast One Bad Movie, Baldwin explained he had been chosen to play Vince McBride, the boyfriend of Jennifer Aniston’s character Nina Borowski.  However, after just two days on set, a producer told him there was a “problem”  specifically, that he was “funnier than Jennifer,” which they felt undermined the film’s dynamic. Baldwin described the criticism as both shocking and humiliating, likening it to being “mauled in the face by a wolverine.” He said he tried to tone down his comedic delivery but was ultimately cut from the project and told to go home.  The role eventually went to actor John Pankow, while Aniston starred opposite Paul Rudd, who played her gay roommate George.  Trump booed at Madison Square Garden during NBA Finals Game 3 as Knicks fans react to presidential visit

President Donald Trump attended Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden on Monday night to watch his hometown team, becoming the first sitting president to attend an NBA Finals game. As he appeared on the Jumbotron during the national anthem, sections of the crowd reacted with loud boos, while Trump stood and smiled, saluting through the moment. Moments later, cheers broke out when the broadcast cut to Knicks star Jalen Brunson on the court.

Trump watched the game from the Knicks owner’s box alongside several administration officials, including Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, White House deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino, and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin. Members of his family, including Jared Kushner and his granddaughter Kai Trump, also attended. The Knicks entered the night with a 2-0 series lead over the San Antonio Spurs and a 13-game winning streak.

His appearance marked his 17th in-person sporting event since taking office in 2025, with previous outings including the Super Bowl, the Daytona 500, and the U.S. Open tennis final. Security around Madison Square Garden was significantly tightened for the visit, including a strict no-bag policy, TSA-style screening, and a designated restricted zone in Midtown Manhattan that limited pedestrian and vehicle access. City officials also canceled an outdoor watch party near the arena, citing the elevated security requirements tied to the presidential visit.
