 LAWMA SCALES UP ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT, SEALS DEFAULTING MARKETS, SHOPS IN IKOTUN-IGANDO … Issues Fresh Compliance Notices Along Ojuelegba-Lawanson-Itire Corridor The Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has intensified its ongoing environmental compliance enforcement across Lagos, sealing markets, shopping complexes and commercial premises along the Ikotun-Igando axis, while issuing notices of intention to seal markets, shops and plazas along the Ojuelegba-Lawanson-Itire corridor. The enforcement exercise, carried out on Saturday by LAWMA's Project WISE West team, targeted commercial premises along the LASU-Igando Road corridor in Alimosho Local Government Area, following persistent indiscriminate dumping of refuse on the road median despite repeated default notices, sustained environmental advocacy and notices of intention to seal.  Corey Feldman released from hospital after in-flight medical emergency, diagnosed with food poisoning following Chicago-to-Los Angeles flight

Actor Corey Feldman has been released from the hospital after experiencing a medical emergency on a flight to Los Angeles, according to his publicist.

The 54-year-old actor, known for his roles in 1980s films including The Goonies and Stand by Me, was taken off the plane after it landed at Los Angeles International Airport on Monday and hospitalized overnight for evaluation.

Medical staff reportedly ruled out gallstones and conducted an MRI before determining that Feldman was suffering from a severe case of food poisoning, according to his publicist.

Feldman has recently been traveling across the country for special screenings marking the 40th anniversary of Stand by Me, appearing alongside co-stars such as Jerry O’Connell and Wil Wheaton. He had attended events in Indianapolis and Chicago, with the Chicago screening taking place the day before his flight back to Los Angeles.

Following his release, Feldman appeared active on social media again, sharing a preview of a new song titled “what am I here 4” late Tuesday night.
