 U.S equipment, experts arrive at Kenya Ebola facility despite court order, protests Around 20 flights carrying medical equipment and specialist staff have landed at a base in Kenya where the U.S. ​government is continuing to build an Ebola quarantine facility despite protests and Kenyan court orders blocking it, according to flight data and officials. At least two ‌people have been killed in protests in the central Kenyan town of Nanyuki, home to the Kenyan air force base where the U.S. military is building a 50-bed unit for Americans who might be exposed to the virus, which has infected hundreds in Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. A Kenyan court first ordered work on the Ebola facility to be suspended on May ​28, yet U.S. military flights into Nanyuki continued in the days that followed, according to data from flight-tracking service Flightradar24. The planes have brought in technical ​equipment as well as dozens of physicians, engineers, lab experts and construction work...

 Peabo Bryson, the legendary R&B singer known for his iconic Disney duets, has sadly passed away at the age of 75 after suffering a stroke just days prior. His family released a statement confirming his death, which occurred on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. 

With a career spanning over five decades, Bryson won two Grammy Awards for his work on Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" and "Aladdin" 1 2, Bryson's legacy extends beyond his Disney hits, with a discography that includes chart-topping soul records and duets with renowned female singers. He was known as the "Voice of Love" for his smooth and soulful voice. 

Some of his notable works include "A Whole New World" with Regina Belle and "Beauty and the Beast" with Celine Dion 3 Before his passing, Bryson was celebrating his 50 year music legacy with the "Golden Touch Tour" and had announced a new album "Grace" produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, set for release in 2026.

He also released a single titled "Bailando Baila" in March 2026
