Serena Williams' husband addresses critics over White House UFC event Alexis Ohanian, husband of tennis star Serena Williams, faced backlash after attending President Trump’s 80th birthday celebration at the White House, which doubled as a UFC event staged by Dana White’s TKO group. The spectacle drew criticism when fighter Josh Hokit used his post-fight interview to make a vile slur about former First Lady Michelle Obama.  Ohanian, who co-founded Reddit and now owns several sports teams, stayed silent for days before finally condemning the remark on social media, insisting he had already left the event when it was made. In his statement, Ohanian explained that he attended at the invitation of UFC’s parent company and emphasized his past decision to resign from Reddit in protest against hate-filled communities. He also noted he was leaving the venue early due to jet lag from traveling between Europe and the U.S. to support Williams’ tennis comeback.  While he expressed r...

Veteran Actor Taofeek Reveals Heartbreaking Betrayal: 'Two of My Five Children Weren't Mine'

Veteran Nigerian actor, Abdul Salam Taofeek, widely known by his professional moniker Tioruju Mondusi, has recently opened up about the most profoundly painful experience of his life. In a candid and emotional interview on the African A-List podcast, the actor shared a harrowing account of betrayal involving his late wife, a revelation that has left many listeners stunned.

The Unveiling of a Painful Secret

When asked if there was anyone whose actions had caused him such deep hurt that he struggled to forgive, Taofeek's voice cracked as he recounted the actions of his late wife. “The only person that did the most painful thing to me in life is my wife. The incident brought tears from my eyes. She’s late now, may God forgive her,” he revealed.

The actor's ordeal began about five years ago when he returned home from a film location to find his wife, who was nine months pregnant with their fifth child, missing. His attempts to reach her were futile for two days. When he finally made contact, she evasively refused to disclose her whereabouts, adding to his growing anxiety.

The shocking truth began to unravel when Taofeek visited his mother-in-law's house to complain. There, he was confronted with photographic evidence that his wife had undergone an 'introduction ceremony' with another man—a man who was already married with four children of his own. Upon seeing the undeniable proof, a furious Taofeek confronted her, only for her to defiantly return home and question his paternity of the unborn child, asking, “Who told you that I’m the owner of the pregnancy?”

A few days later, his wife gave birth. Despite her earlier public denial of his paternity, she astonishingly requested that the naming ceremony take place at their matrimonial home. This audacious demand pushed Taofeek to his breaking point, leading him to involve the police and arrest her, along with the man she had been seeing and a friend who had come to mediate.

The Devastating Truth in Court

Following Taofeek’s refusal to allow the naming ceremony in his compound, his wife initiated divorce proceedings. It was during these court sessions that the full, devastating truth emerged: she confessed under oath that not only was the fifth child not his, but their third child also belonged to the other man. She admitted to having an affair with the man for many years.

The story takes a tragic turn with the revelation of his late wife's fate. She passed away last year, succumbing to depression after the man she left Taofeek for ultimately abandoned her to return to his own family. He was an Ijebu man from Ogun State, already committed to his existing wife and four children before the affair with Taofeek's wife began.

Taofeek's courageous sharing of this deeply personal and painful experience serves as a stark reminder of the hidden struggles many face behind closed doors, offering a glimpse into the emotional toll of profound marital betrayal.
