 U.S announces visa curbs for some foreign nationals in South Africa Secretary of State Marco Rubio ‌said on Tuesday the U.S. government was announcing a new visa restriction ​policy targeting some foreign nationals ​in South Africa. The policy targets "foreign ⁠nationals who are responsible for, ​or complicit in, the enactment or ​implementation of laws or policies that enable uncompensated land seizures, race-based discrimination, and/or ​the incitement of imminent violence ​against members of minority ethnic or racial ‌groups ⁠in South Africa," Rubio said in a statement. "The South African government has not adequately addressed the ​previously laid ​out ⁠concerns," Rubio said, Reuters reported. Relations between Washington and Pretoria have ​soured since the start of ​Donald ⁠Trump's second term, with the U.S. president criticizing the country ⁠for ​its policies aimed at ​addressing racial inequality.

A NAKED MAN WAS ARRESTED AFTER TRYING TO SNATCH A 7-YEAR-OLD GIRL FROM HER MOTHER AT A PORTLAND, OREGON WATERPARK.(PHOTO).

 A naked man was arrested after trying to snatch a 7-year-old girl from her mother at a Portland, Oregon waterpark.


31-year-old Daniel Vasey was arrested on the evening of July 11th after a series of 911 calls about a fully unclothed man took a darker turn.


Initial calls regarding Vasey's behavior began pouring in a little before 7 p.m. on Saturday evening. One caller reported that a naked man had tried to punch him. All calls were made from near the McCall Waterfront Park in Portland. 


Then, a few minutes after 7 p.m., a call came in stating that the unclothed man had just tried to pull a young girl from her mother. According to witnesses, Vasey was attacked by both parents and several bystanders, causing him to release the girl and flee the scene.


Officers with the Portland PD arrived on the scene to find Vassey swimming in the Willamette River. 


Daniel Vassey was arrested and charged with first-degree and second-degree attempted  kidnapping and third-degree assault .


The young girl, who was visiting the area from out of state with family, was treated by paramedics for minor injuries but was otherwise alright.
