Now, the RHOA star says his latest move proves she was right to walk away. The former couple's private life is now playing out in public, with Burruss refusing to let Tucker's revelations go unanswered.  ‎Anambra Plans New Tenancy Law to Regulate Rents and Agent Fees

‎Governor Chukwuma Soludo has on June 30, responded to growing public concerns over rising house rents and multiple charges imposed on tenants across Anambra State.

‎

‎For years, residents have complained about the increasing cost of securing accommodation, with many tenants burdened by additional expenses such as agency fees, legal fees, agreement charges, and other related payments demanded during the rental process.

‎

‎In a move aimed at addressing these challenges, the Anambra State Government has announced plans to introduce the Anambra Rent and Tenancy Law. The proposed legislation is designed to regulate tenancy practices, promote transparency within the housing sector, and provide stronger protection for tenants, particularly low-income earners.

‎

‎Speaking on the initiative, Gov. Soludo acknowledged the difficulties many residents face in accessing affordable housing. The administration noted that the proposed law would seek to create a more balanced relationship between landlords, tenants, and property agents.

‎

‎Government officials explained that the legislation is expected to establish clear guidelines for rental transactions, curb excessive charges, and encourage fair and responsible practices in the housing market.

‎

‎The proposal has been welcomed by many residents, who believe it could ease the financial pressure associated with renting accommodation and improve accountability within the sector. Others,  say they will reserve judgment until the full details of the law are released and its implementation framework becomes clear.

‎

‎As residents await further information on the proposed Rent and Tenancy Law, expectations remain high that the measure will help improve access to decent, affordable housing and bring lasting reforms to Anambra State’s rental system.
