  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Former Central Washington University soccer player Bryn Waite found dead in ocean near San Diego beach at 26

  

The body of former Central Washington University soccer player Bryn Waite was found in the ocean near a San Diego beach, with authorities investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.

Police responded on July 22 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person floating near Scripps Pier at La Jolla Shores Beach. The woman was removed from the water and pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman was later identified as Waite, 26, who was originally from Anchorage, Alaska. She played soccer for Central Washington University in Ellensburg during the 2018 and 2019 seasons, appearing in 15 games with eight starts and recording more than 700 minutes of playing time for the Wildcats.

The university’s athletic department shared condolences following her death, remembering Waite as a talented student-athlete who excelled both on the field and in the classroom. Officials expressed support for her family and friends during what they described as an extremely difficult time.

According to the university, Waite had recently moved to San Diego with her fiancé as she began a new chapter in her life.

The medical examiner’s office is investigating the cause and manner of death. Police said the medical examiner will continue handling the investigation unless evidence indicates the death was a homicide, which would then be investigated by the department’s homicide unit.

A cause of death has not yet been released.
