Terrifying new dashcam footage shows moment doomed NBC helicopter falls out of the sky The terrifying moment an NBC helicopter fell out of the sky and plunged into the ground near where an SUV had slammed into a Metro bus was caught on dashcam. The video, obtained by KTLA, shows the helicopter descending, caught from afar on the vehicle camera of Yera Valencia. She said: “I downloaded the video of my dashcam. It’s a little dot on the video. It’s a crisp video and it just goes down.” She added: “God, it’s so close, it could have happened to anyone. My parents walk down the street.” The two back-to-back Tuesday night crashes resulted in five deaths — two involving the bus and SUV, and three as a result of the chopper going down, killing reporter Eliana Moreno, pilot George Marciniw and pedestrian Edy Gutierrez Mejia.

 Judge orders Trump trust financial records released in BBC documentary lawsuit over $10 billion claim

A federal judge has ordered President Donald Trump to provide financial records from his trust as part of his lawsuit against the BBC, allowing the network to review documents connected to his claim that a disputed documentary edit caused him significant financial harm.

Judge Enjoliqué Aytch Lett approved a subpoena requesting records from the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust dating back to January 1, 2023. The order limits the scope of the request, ruling that records from that period should provide enough information to evaluate Trump’s financial position before and after the documentary’s release.

Trump’s legal team has argued that expert testimony based on the financial records could help support their claim for $10 billion in damages.

The lawsuit stems from a BBC documentary that aired in October 2024 and included edited portions of a Trump speech. The network later acknowledged that the editing created the impression that Trump had delivered a continuous statement encouraging violent action related to the January 6 Capitol attack, when the footage was actually taken from separate parts of the speech.

The BBC issued an apology but declined to provide financial compensation over the incident. The controversy also led to the resignations of BBC Director-General Tim Davie and news executive Deborah Turness.

The court’s ruling now allows the BBC access to financial documents as the legal dispute moves forward.
