PARIS JACKSON ASKS COURT TO RECOVER NEARLY $3 MILLION SHE SAYS WAS IMPROPERLY SPENT BY MICHAEL JACKSON ESTATE.(PHOTO).

Paris Jackson asks court to recover nearly $3 million she says was improperly spent by Michael Jackson estate

Paris Jackson has asked a court to order the managers of her late father Michael Jackson's estate to repay millions of dollars, arguing that estate funds were improperly used during an ongoing legal dispute.

According to a court filing obtained by Us Weekly, Paris is seeking to recover about $3 million. She is asking that estate executor John Branca repay the $1.1 million she says she spent on legal fees after he allegedly "over-litigated" their dispute.

Paris also claims Branca authorized $2.85 million in gifts using estate funds without approval and has requested that those funds be returned for the benefit of Michael Jackson's beneficiaries.

"All Paris has ever wanted is fair treatment for her family, but the Estate has tried to block her at every turn," a source close to Paris' legal team told Us Weekly.

The source further alleged that Branca had mismanaged the estate through unnecessary spending and prolonged legal battles, calling for greater accountability and transparency.

Attorneys representing Michael Jackson's estate have rejected the claims.

In court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the estate's lawyers said they have a responsibility to protect confidential legal communications and negotiation strategies.

They also argued that Paris' filing includes "irrelevant attacks," including suggestions that the estate has remained open because of the executor's actions.

The estate's legal team noted that previous court proceedings acknowledged there are still unresolved legal matters, including ongoing tax-related litigation that could be appealed, making it impossible to complete the administration of the estate at this stage.

The attorneys also addressed claims that the estate paid $120 million in executor fees, stating that the figure covers the period from Michael Jackson's death in 2009 through 2022.

They maintained that distributions to beneficiaries have been handled in accordance with the singer's will.
