South Africa says US misrepresented its policies after visa curbs South Africa's foreign ministry said on Wednesday that it ‌had noted with concern U.S. visa restrictions on some people from South Africa announced by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio a day earlier. The foreign ministry added in a statement that the U.S. announcement aligned with "the mischaracterisation of South Africa's domestic policies by fringe groups". "We maintain that challenges in our bilateral relations with the USA can only be resolved by constructive engagement through state actors on both sides of the diplomatic channel not unilateral acts," the statement said, Reuters reported. Trump has repeatedly criticized ‌South Africa since the start of his second term for what he falsely claims is the racial persecution of its white minority, citing affirmative action laws aimed at addressing the inequality that has persisted since apartheid. ‎3. Mali 🇲🇱 0 Point

‎4. Cape Verde 🇨🇻 0 Point

‎The shape of the groups will significantly change in the second rpund of play, as losers fight to come back or face elimination.

South Africa, Nigeria, Senegal and Egypt will definately work hard to bounce back. Zambia got their 3 points, and Malawi, too, but the next matches will be tougher.

Zambia faces off against the Super Falcons, who were beaten by little Malawi in a 3-2 thriller. In their precious encounter with the Copper Queens the Falcons prevailed over the Southern African with an empatic defeat. This time, the Queens will not take chances and have vowed to take revenge.  We look forward to the game.

What is, however, disappointing with the Wafcon is the lack of crowd support. The stadia are not full to capacity and the much-needed roar of the crowd is not there. We hope, though, things improve.

Enjoy the matches...
