 SANWO-OLU HOLDS SECURITY COUNCIL MEETING  Governor : We will continue to strengthen security  Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has assured Lagosians and visitors that the government will continue to strengthen security.  “We will not relent on our efforts to ensure that criminals don’t find a place for their evil activities in our state,” Sanwo-Olu  said.  The Governor met today September 29 with security chiefs  at the State House Marina. He was briefed on all security activities and plans to strengthen the system ahead of the end-of -year activities.  At the meeting were: Police Commissioner Tijani Fatai, Brig.Gen. A.O. Owolabi, Commander, 9 Brigade, Ikeja, Commodore A.  GBOKO CHILD SAFETY CONCERNS: TRADITIONAL COUNCIL MEETS POLICE, DSS



The Gboko Traditional Council in Benue State has met with the Police and Department of State Services (DSS) following reports of recent child theft incidents in the area.


The engagement focused on security concerns, community vigilance and measures to strengthen the protection of children in Gboko.


Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to the appropriate security authorities while avoiding the spread of unverified information.

The Gboko Traditional Council in Benue State has met with the Nigeria Police Force and the Department of State Services (DSS) following reports of recent child theft incidents in Gboko.


The meeting focused on the reported cases, growing concerns among residents and the need to strengthen security measures to protect children and prevent further incidents.


The engagement is expected to provide an avenue for traditional authorities and security agencies to share information, review existing security measures and improve community vigilance.


The development comes amid concerns among parents and residents over the safety of children in Gboko and surrounding communities.


The traditional council is also expected to work with relevant stakeholders to encourage residents to promptly report suspicious movements and activities to security agencies.
