A car filled with fireworks exploded during an illegal religious parade in central Mexico, killing a teenage boy and injuring at least a dozen more, terrifying video captured. Locals were participating in a procession Thursday in the city of Cuautitlán Izcalli — 21 miles from Mexico City — as part of an annual patron saint festival honoring San Francisco de Asis. Adults and children are seen celebrating as confetti hovers in the air when the pyrotechnics loaded into the vehicle catch fire, the video shows. Bystanders then turn toward the vehicle when the blast suddenly goes off. The person filming is knocked off their feet, while a person is seen sobbing nearby, according to the horrifying video.  INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY: NONYE SOLUDO CALLS FOR MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

The Anambra State First Lady, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, has called for more opportunities and supportive spaces for young people to learn, build, lead and thrive in today’s world.


Mrs. Soludo made the call in a message commemorating International Youth Day, describing young people as changemakers, innovators, entrepreneurs, creators and problem-solvers shaping the world today.


She stressed that every young person deserves an opportunity to discover their potential and transform their dreams into meaningful impact, noting that society owes them such opportunities.


The First Lady urged young people in Anambra State and beyond to believe in themselves, keep learning, stay healthy and remain committed to making positive contributions.


According to her, young people possess ideas, energy and courage needed to build the future everyone desires, urging them never to underestimate the difference they can make.


She encouraged stakeholders to continue creating environments where young people can develop their talents, express their creativity and acquire the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.


Mrs. Soludo emphasised that empowering young people is essential to building resilient communities and a prosperous society, as their contributions can drive innovation and meaningful development.


She therefore urged young people to embrace every opportunity to learn and grow, while remaining focused on their dreams and committed to creating positive change.


The First Lady congratulated young people on the occasion of International Youth Day, assuring them that their voices, talents and contributions remain important in shaping a better future.
