JEFFREY EPSTEIN REPORTEDLY LEFT FORMER GIRLFRIEND, KARYNA SHULIAK, AN ESTIMATED $100 MILLION FROM HIS ESTATE. (PHOTO).

Jeffrey Epstein reportedly left former girlfriend, Karyna Shuliak, an estimated $100 million from his estate

Jeffrey Epstein’s former girlfriend, Karyna Shuliak, could inherit a substantial portion of his estate, with reports estimating the value at roughly $100 million.

Shuliak, 37, is a New York-based dentist who was in a relationship with Epstein for about eight years after the two met when she was 21. Documents released by the Justice Department indicate Epstein helped finance her education and living expenses and used his connections to assist with her admission to Columbia University’s dental school after she was initially rejected.

Epstein reportedly made a $210,000 donation to the university after initially offering $10 million in connection with efforts to secure her admission.

The documents also describe a relationship in which Epstein provided Shuliak with expensive gifts, helped her obtain a green card and assisted her parents in Belarus financially. Emails from 2012 include references to Shuliak traveling to see Epstein, with one message telling him that she was on her way.

Other emails appear to show the couple discussing fertility treatments. In 2016, Shuliak told Epstein that she had consulted reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Zev Rosenwaks about freezing her eggs. Additional correspondence from the same period discusses sperm freezing and appointments connected to fertility services.

Records also indicate Epstein was communicating with a fertility and sperm-storage company about procedures and paperwork. His longtime assistant, Leslie Groff, exchanged messages concerning the arrangements and shared some of the information with Shuliak to help Epstein complete the required paperwork.

The files contain other personal correspondence involving Shuliak, including messages concerning travel, household matters and gifts.

One 2013 email also appears to show Shuliak helping Epstein locate a woman who reportedly offered massage services. The message was sent to another person with Epstein copied, although the available records do not establish the nature of the woman's relationship with Epstein or whether the interaction involved any criminal conduct.

Shuliak was also identified as a beneficiary of a trust established for Epstein. The so-called Butterfly Trust listed Shuliak alongside Darren Indyke, a former Epstein attorney and co-executor, and Richard Kahn, Epstein’s longtime accountant and co-executor.

In February 2019, Kahn contacted Shuliak about sending her $150,000 from the trust at Epstein’s direction. Epstein was arrested several months later on federal sex trafficking charges.

The appearance of a person's name in the released documents does not by itself indicate criminal conduct. No criminal charges related to Epstein's crimes were filed against those named in the documents other than Ghislaine Maxwell.

An attorney representing several Epstein survivors has criticized the possibility that members of Epstein’s inner circle could receive money from his estate, arguing that the estate should instead benefit his victims.

Shuliak’s attorney did not publicly respond to questions about the reported inheritance.

The documents also show that Shuliak was the last person Epstein called before his death in federal custody. On Aug. 9, 2019, Epstein was permitted to make a roughly 20-minute call from an unsecured and unmonitored line to Shuliak. He was found dead in his cell the following day in what authorities determined was a suicide.

The released records do not establish whether Shuliak was interviewed by investigators or was considered a person of interest in the Epstein investigation.
