 ‎‎NAF RECEIVES FIVE NEW HELICOPTERS AS FG ACCELERATES AIRPOWER MODERNISATION ‎ The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of five new helicopters as the Federal Government accelerates efforts to modernize Nigeria’s airpower capabilities and strengthen the Armed Forces’ capacity to respond effectively to contemporary security challenges.  ‎ ‎A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that the platforms comprise three AW-109 Trekker B helicopters  and two H-125 helicopters. ‎ The three AW-109s, which form part of 10 recently acquired by the Federal Government, were received in Lagos on 15 September 2026, with the remaining seven expected to be delivered before the end of 2026. ‎ ‎The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, described the acquisition as another significant milestone in the Federal Government’s sustained investment in the modernization and re-equipment of the NAF noting that the new pl...

 Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau keep the romance alive on vacation in Sardinia


Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau have continued to showcase their relationship while vacationing across Europe this summer. The couple was recently photographed in Sardinia, arriving hand‑in‑hand at Olbia’s private terminal after stepping off a jet. 


Perry kept her look casual with jeans, a white T‑shirt, and a floral button‑up, accessorized with sunglasses and silver headphones. Trudeau opted for a green polo and shorts, carrying both a backpack and Perry’s designer purse.


Their romance, which became public over the past year, has been highlighted at red‑carpet events and premieres. In June, Perry spoke openly about their bond while debuting her concert film The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris. 


She described each day with Trudeau as “a fantastic journey” and credited him with helping her feel grounded after a difficult period. Perry likened herself to a “rainbow kite” who needed an anchor, saying Trudeau provided that stability.


The singer reflected on how far she has come since ending her relationship with Orlando Bloom in 2025, with whom she shares a daughter. 


Perry admitted last year was one of the hardest of her life, but she persevered for her fans, her child, and herself. 


Now, she says she feels whole and deeply in love, embracing this new chapter with Trudeau as both a personal and emotional turning point.
