 How Bauchi Accountant-General Transferred State Funds to Private Company - Witness   Trial of the Accountant-General of Bauchi State, Sirajo Muhammed Jaja continued on Monday, September 21, 2026 at the Federal High Court in Abuja presided over by Justice Obiora Egwuatu with a witness revealing how Jaja diverted state funds to a private company. Jaja is facing prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC ,  alongside Aliyu Abubakar, Abubakar Muhammed Hafiz, Ari Manga and Muhammed Aminu Bose, for alleged corruption. The defendants are being prosecuted by the EFCC on an amended five-count charge of money laundering, diversion of public funds, and criminal misappropriation of funds to the tune of N1,635,270,350.9 (One Billion, Six Hundred and Thirty-five Million, Two Hundred and Seventy Thousand, Three Hundred and Fifty Naira, Nine Kobo).  TikTok creator Sydney Towle dies at 26 after sharing cancer journey with more than 1 million followers


Sydney Towle, a TikTok creator who shared her cancer journey with more than 1 million followers, has d!ed at the age of 26.


Her family announced the news on her social media accounts on August 6, saying she passed away on August 5. A tribute described Towle as a daughter, sister and friend who brought joy to many people.


Her older brother Austin Towle also shared the message on TikTok, calling her the “best sister ever.”


The announcement came two days after Austin revealed that Sydney had entered hospice care and was surrounded by family and friends.


Towle was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare bile duct cancer, at age 23. She later documented her experience online, sharing updates about surgeries, clinical trials and treatments as she continued living with the illness.


In May 2026, Towle posted videos from the hospital while receiving care for complications related to her condition. She later shared that her cancer had spread to the peritoneum, the lining of the abdomen and pelvis.


Her family and followers have continued sharing messages remembering her following the announcement of her passing.
